Payment

  • Payments are made through Paypal (credit cards accepted).
  • In certain cases, payment through MO will be accepted.
  • 50% of the total amount is due before I start work on the site.
  • Another 25% is due when the design is finalized, but before creating the entire site
  • The final 25% is due when the site is finished and uploaded (is live).
  • Payments for updates are due once the update is done.
  • In some cases a payment plan can be established.
  • In some cases, a service/product excahnge can be arranged as partial or total payment.
  • If at any point the project is canceled, there are no refunds, but all work/files done up to that point will be sent via mail.

I am flexible about payment and even prices! Contact me and we can discuss your specific situation.

Communication
Communication is preferably done through email. Live conversations about the progress of your site can be made through Skype or MSN Instant Messenger (if you don't have access to either of those, don't worry, we'll think of something!)
Files and comments can be sent through email.

Process (briefly)

  • We discuss what you need
  • You give me all the info and files, and pay half of the total cost
  • I design 3 options for you (as images)
  • You choose 1 or a combination of elements and pay another 25%
  • I design a few pages of the site for you to review
  • You agree and like it a lot (or maybe suggest a few minor changes)
  • I make small changes
  • The entire site is built and uploaded
  • You pay the remaining 25%


Process in detail

  • Discussion and conversation about your needs, wants and expectations.
  • ALL necessary information and files need to be received BEFORE work can begin on a project (this includes pre-proofed copy, images and media, as well as information for site uploading, if you already have a domain and server).
  • Payment of 50% due at this point
  • After all the information is received, allow approx. 4 business days for an initial review consisting of 3 different proposals (with a different look, color palette, layout, etc.) These proposals will not be of the entire site, but only of the main page and a sub-page. These proposals will be images, and not actual web pages.
  • After you receive and review the initial proposals, you may choose just 1 of the proposals, or you may combine designs. ALL the alterations necessary should be indicated BEFORE work will begin again to consolidate the revisions into 1 site and have it ready for a second review (time for this first revision will vary depending on the extent of changes needed, anywhere between 2-8 business days).
  • After the revisions are done, a test site will be available review (this time a main page plus a few sub-pages will be available as web pages). Again, ALL revisions necessary should be indicated before moving on. (time for the second revision will vary depending on the extent of changes needed, but I estimate 2-4 business days).
  • Payment of an additional 25% is due.
  • After this, the site will be finished, uploaded and up to your expectations (with possibly MINOR tweaking). If a third round of revisions is necessary due to major changes (not considered tweaking) , and additional fee will be charged, depending on the extent of the changes.
  • Payment of the remaining 25% is due

Note: you can take as much time as you need between revisions to make sure you’ve looked at the proposal thoroughly and submit all the changes necessary. Please submit all changes or suggestions in ONE email. Please be aware that I will not completely change the design of your site after each revision. Revisions are for minor changes, not for starting over.
